In a context where Israel continues to intensify its ethnic cleansing operations against the Palestinian people, this initiative is not intended to be a placebo to soothe the structures of oppression that Palestinians endure. We recognise the right of resistance against racism, apartheid and subjugation through all legitimate means, until the Palestinian people are liberated. We also support the call from the Palestinian people for boycotts, divestment and sanctions against Israel until it abides by international law.
