The Palestine Solidarity Initiative facilitates solidarity with Palestinian students and empowers those who are systematically denied of opportunities to fulfil their academic potential.
PSI provides a mechanism for you to assist Palestinians by encouraging and supporting their application to the vast array of Masters degree programmes on offer in the UK. In a context where Israel continues to intensify its ethnic cleansing operations against the Palestinian people, this initiative is not intended to be a placebo to soothe the structures of oppression that Palestinians endure. We recognise the right of resistance against racism, apartheid and subjugation through all legitimate means, until the Palestinian people are liberated. We also support the call from the Palestinian people for boycotts, divestment and sanctions against Israel until it abides by international law. This initiative has its roots in the struggle for Palestine at the London School of Economics. The London School of Economics Students’ Union (LSE SU) is officially twinned with Working in assocation with the LSE Students' Union Palestine Society, PSI now has a network of over 100 supporters - including students, staff, alumni and governors - who have a wide knowledge of the degree programmes and application processes for universities in the UK. The Palestine Solidarity Initiative was founded by LSE alumni and activists who have long campaigned for the liberation of
